Huntsman Springs Golf Outing With The Berry Boys

We did a little pre-birthday golf outing today. Last year when we golfed this course in September we experienced a thunder/lightening storm and lots of rain. Having that experience I dressed for winter this round. Score wise it was not the best round, due to work constraints all summer and health issues I had only golfed a hand full of times all summer. Not being able to grip the club is sort of problem when trying to golf. However, even when I golf poorly, golf is always fun. It was nice to be unplugged for a few hours! After golf Dadio treated us to sushi! It made for a great day. Thanks!

Birthday Outing For Mama Berry!

Mama Berry's birthday was a National Holiday this year (literally, Labor Day).  We spent the day in Swan Valley, eating, fishing, eating, Joshy catching fish, Averina catching a snake, Brown Eyes and Mattie Faye collecting shells and throwing rocks in the river, and topping off the evening with square ice cream cones at Rainey Creek. All in all I think Mama Berry had a good birthday hanging with her favorite people-her family. Happy Birthday to the lady that most people mistake for as my older sister! You're a wonderful mother, nurse, friend, witch on a broomstick, and mentor. We LOVE you, Mama Berry

The PA Reunion in IDAHO!

Mer suggested well over a year in advance that we all meet in Idaho for a reunion. Well it happened! It was a short but fun reunion! We've added quite a few to the group since we all lived in PA together and we are still growing! We ate well...MPR, NJ, and, SJ all enjoyed their Idaho Berry burgers almost too much! We picked raspberries, huckleberries, we partook of raspberry/huckleberry shakes, we had at least two or more people up every hour of the day at my house. (The joy of babies). Babies kissed, wrestled, and were spoiled with lots of affection. All were able to visit THE Berry Oil HQ. We had time to just talk. I am so glad everyone was able to come. We did miss, JD! Below is a snapshot of the good time we all had together...until next time!   

Erickson Family Reunion 2014

At the beginning of July the Erickson clan gathered in Tetonia for a few days of fun, visiting, roping, sheep riding, and such. We had a lot of Ericksons come (we were lucky that Jed Fred and Emily made it after their cross country adventure). It started out with some of us taking a very scary dunk in the water as we were all floating the Teton River. Maybe at some point I'll be able to elaborate in more detail but the short version is that we were lucky we made it out alive, the spirit of protection is extremely powerful, my love for Hailey Bug is at times overwhelming, and we are thankful that we had Jason, Jed, Josh, Seth, and the many other angels there that day to fish us out of the water. 

Other activities included the 4th of July parade, packsaddle lake, roping, the Tetonia rodeo, lots of food, lots of kids, lots of laughs, and lots of teasing. Below is a photo summary of our days together.

 Jagger and Mattie Faye are best buds! It is so cute to see Jagger be so protective of Mattie Faye.
