A Lesson For The Future Me One Day...

and for all you married folk that still read my blog.

The Art of a Good Marriage by Wilferd Arlan Peterson

A good marriage must be created.
In the art of marriage the little things are the big things...

It is never being too old to hold hands.
It is remembering to say “I love you” at least once each day.

It is never going to sleep angry.
It is having a mutual sense of values and common objectives.
It is forming a circle of love that gathers in the whole family.

It is speaking words of appreciation and
demonstrating gratitude in thoughtful ways.
It is having the capacity to forgive and forget.

It is giving each other an atmosphere in which each can grow.
It is finding room for the things of the spirit.
It is a common search for the good and the beautiful.

It is not only marrying the right partner...
It is being the right partner.

Jess Berry Quote of The Day!

It’s wonderful to do something you love for so many years. Not everyone has that.

Perfect Way To Start A Saturday Morning!

There are very few things I'll admit that I deem higher to perfecting a start to any morning, particularly Saturday mornings than golf.
Prayer
Scripture Study
Sleeping in
Temple ties with golf (yes, ties as both are places I commune with the Lord)

JNS agrees I am sure...

Jess Berry Quote of The Day!

Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experiences of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, ambition inspired, and success achieved.

February, The Month That Flies By When You're Blinking

The joy of February is that it is a short month. The curse of February is that it is a short month.  Needless to say my February consisted of the following.

1. Working insane hours for the first ten days of the month (not enjoyable).
2. Played a social double header the Saturday before V-day. Check-mark my quota for the quarter.
3. Opted for an awesome V-day by having botox injections. I love myself that much.
4. Got to have HN chauffeur me around for errands (see below).
5. Spent the next two weeks working from my bed and couch (see below), fighting constant fatigue and being blessed with lots of help from the troops in my PA family.
6. Followed those lovely weeks up with a business trip to Guadalajara, MX, to meet my team there and do face to face training for the first time ever (turns out F2F is more productive that virtual, go figure).
7. Oh and I joined the iPhone cult as well this month!

I cannot promise that March will be different, in fact, there will be definite repeats (long hrs in the beginning, followed by some surgery and awesome couch and bed time (with Mama Berry since she's coming to take care of me!). I do PROMISE some exciting news will be announced at the end of March on the blog. Stay tuned for that.

First iPhone picture snapped. HN was a good sport.
