Team Berry Oil/Baird Oil Takes The Win

For many years now all I've wanted when I golf in a tournament and my big brother is on another team is to beat him. He's good. Too good. He always wins. This year at an Idaho Petroleum Marketers' PAC tournament it finally happened! Above is our winning team and our winnings from the pro shop. We shot 10 under par, we each made some amazing shots, and it was fun! Oh and victory tasted so sweet! 

My New Second Home...Salmon, Idaho

At the end of July, we had an employee give her notice. Luckily for us the timing worked well, we hired Gordo to run our Salmon operations days later. It has been baptism by fire for Gordo...and a lot of time in Salmon for me. A three hour drive through the desert of Idaho, with no service for much of the drive. Temporary residence at The Stagecoach Inn. The opportunity to explore all the eateries of Salmon. (Britt, I've found some amazing Flan for you). Small town life at its best. Everyone has a story...or two. When I went into the bank for the first time, before I handed the teller my deposit she says: "You must be that Berry girl". (The town knew I was coming). Unfortunately when I see the most redneck spectacles I don't have my camera handy. For example, a old man on a motorized scooter...and his dog riding along. Or the Salmon Santa Claus in summer attire. (It is my goal to capture these for historic purposes).

Who knows, I might just take up permanent residence one day.

One night while I was working in Tetonia, Sam Jam, Susie Q, and MoCo spoiled me. Dinner. Painted my toenails. And Sam Jam did my hair. Pretty fancy, right? I'm still trying to talk her parents into letting her live with me. If she did, I'd have my own nail tech and hairstylist full-time!

Love To See The Temple

Every time I attend the Rexburg Temple I recall my first time attending the temple...and it is pretty heavenly from the outside too. This past week I witness a family be sealed for time and all eternity. Now I've witnessed many young couples be sealed and each has been amazing to be a part of, however, watching this family of five be sealed was awe-inspiring and beautiful to see the gospel, the plan of salvation working live in this family.
