HAPPY BIRTHDAY RONI!!!

Best way to celebrate turning 21? Obviously that would be letting KT and JB take you out for dinner! Roni turned 21 on Monday so we partied in classic praise Roni style. We enjoyed meat (makes ever birthday worthwhile), 'no'-jitos, Red personalities, and lots of hilarious conversation. Roni, we hope you enjoyed your birthday as much as we did! The world hearts Roni Lane!!!

Two Goofs!

Trying to hold a pose in Would You Rather. LOL...didn't last long.
Matt sipping water like a little kitty in Would You Rather...awww precious!

Tourist Adventures!

Hot Chocolates and a warm cookie bottom sundae: the only way to do Ghirardelli right.
Boudin's sourdough (mouth is watering)!!!
Completely freaking out driving down Lombard street. Gari and I both had a lot of "firsts" this trip. :) Luckily we made it down safely.

View from the sunroof!
Gari had never been to In-N-Out. It really was a shame but we rectified that pretty quickly. A double double anyone?
Drive Thru....
I would just like to point out how ridiculously dressed up Gari was to go to In-N-Out.....
come on Gari it is a classy joint but not the Ritz. ;)
Half Moon Bay in the rain.
Gari at Marianne's Ice Cream....delicious!!!! Nothing organic or healthy about this treat!
Our dinner at South Legend. For almost three years South Legend has been my FAVORITE FAVORITE restaurant in the bay and yet I've never blogged about it. What an huge error on my part. The first time I went there as an intern with our friend, Huailei, taking us (thanks for introducing me to my favorite place). At that point in time I thought it was amazing but very spicy, but as I continued to return my tolerance for the spicy flavor increased! Now I insist on taking everyone that visits me to South Legend. I have my two favorite dishes that are always a must: fish in a fiery sauce and a spinach leaf vegetable in garlic (yummy...just getting hungry typing). Out of everyone I taken there the only non-lovers were my Dad (poor guy...he is too hooked on steak and potatoes to enjoy) and Meredith (who prefer "fake" American Chinese food). It is funny because the waiters know me by name and recognize when I don't frequent their establishment often. I do heart South Legend! Anyone wanting the experience let me know and I'll introduce you to greatness on a plate!
This picture is for HC....at The Tech they have a room dedicated just for QC (Quality Control)...I think I found my home. ;)

Happy Birthday GARI!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GAR!
Gari came to The Bay to visit last week (on her birthday) and we had such a blast. I almost (keyword: almost) had forgotten how much I missed Gari. They just don't make friends like Gari every year like a new car model. She's a classic, once in a lifetime model that increases in value as time goes by. I really appreciated the visit, we missed SJ and SEC but next time girls!
The sweetest "organic" birthday treat known to man.
My favorite expression.
Atop the De Young Museum tower in SF.
Playing tourist: pointing to where we were in SF. Awwww...the joy of playing tourist!
Gari and I atop the tower.
Our token artist shot of the bridge, Shalece are you proud of Gari for that shoot?
In all the time I've lived in the bay I've only seen the bridge fully a handful of times and Thursday morning it was a sweet shoot!
These could definitely be "Christmas card" shoots.

Supporting Sister Maren...one package at a time!

KT, Roni, and I decided that we missed Maren. What better way to show our love than a ridiculous package full of random letters, cookies, toys, and Hello Kitty stickers? We feel that if we set the bar low than her expectations for greatness will be met!

Matty's Graduation Dinner!!!

Sometimes I wonder about this kid!
It took almost 10 minutes to FINALLY get him to smile big for the camera! We promised him dinner if he would. Good boy Matty!
Congratulations Matty! I am proud that you are my brother!

They only gave Avery crayons and paper to color on this time. I must finally be looking older than a 12 year old these days or else my Dad slipped the waitress a $20 to make me feel older!

Sunset as I was driving out to Dan and Pat's for dinner (yes we had Sloppy Dan's and I still bow down to the master!). I love Dan and Pat!!! Best 2nd set of parents a kid could ask for!!!

Can This Adorable Kid Really Be Related To Jed Fred? ;)

Kasen is indeed related to Jed Fred, thank goodness he's looks like Emily! ;) Kasen is such a good baby!

New Years Day Sledding

Matt, Avery, and Mom. We all look like we were in A Christmas Story....hehe.
Mom made me wear this HOT helmet sledding. Apparently sledding could cause another concussion. ;) Hehe...

Day With The Girls!!!

Gari providing yet another hilarious photo that I'll tease her about for years to come. It is not quite as great as the spandex and boots photo. :)
On the 27th Sandi, Shalece, Gari, and I met up for lunch at Bajio's (delicious) and then we headed to Sandi's house for lots of fun, laughter, and walks down memory lane. I love those girls. We had mint Oreos, Swiss rolls, and homemade chocolates (enough chocolate for an army). The four of us haven't all been together in about two years, it was great. Thanks SEC and Gari for making the trip, despite the weather.
Some things never change; being crazy. ;) Okay, Shalece is pretty normal...sort of.
Not really sure what we were doing here, except being a bit goofy.
Yes we can take a good photo every now and then. Love you girls!

Erickson Christmas Party

Poncho Villa and I with the coolest gift ever! My New York Yankees blanket! You can bet that that blanket will stay pretty close year-round to me. Thanks Grandma!
Poncho and Grandma Erickson
Dad and I in our favorite place during Erickson parties: on the couch in the kitchen, close to the food. We are geniuses!
Morgan and I watching the Christmas program.
Two of my favorite girls: Sami Jami and Morgan. Sam Jam is almost taller than me...crazy!!!

Christmas in a Blizzard! Part Two

My parents' front door.
Our front porch.
We played Wii while we were snowed in but bowling with the Wii really is NOT my specialty.
Reggie was the winner! (Reggie beat me at everything over the break: I bow down to the ping pong master).
Loving the snow.....hehe.
