Photo Recapping

The little girls like to come over for lunch...they watch for us to come home from work and they are in the driveway before we get out of the car...
And they are goofy as ever...and Averina and Morg are twins!

As I've been recovering from botox injections, Sam Jam gave me the special treatment; a foot massage and a manicure...while watching Duck Dynasty...the redneck coming out in me. Thanks Sam Jam!
While the rest of the ward members parked around the park the Bishop and his family members think they have reserved VIP parking to the ward party (courtesy of the City of Tetonia). In order from L to R: Matty's truck, Amie's Yukon, Dadio's truck, Mama Berry's Denali, and Susie Q's Yukon...in Idaho most people only drive big vehicles, I am obviously a bit out of place with the silver bullet. I probably shouldn't mention that the park is one block from our houses but we still drove...
Also finding Averina in the tree often...
Dadio is constantly using his Mac products to entertain his little girls

Happy Birthday Aunt Karolyn!

Yesterday we celebrated Aunt Karolyn's birthday a day early. We had oatmeal cake...delicious...complete with an awesome birthday song! Hopefully she felt the love.
I tried and tried to catch Uncle Rich when he'd smile but to no avail...he'd smile for a second and then stop and then quickly smile and stop. Real funny Uncle Rich! Lacey Lou reminded him that studies show that people who smile for pictures live longer...just saying...

Berry Oil Golf Outing

After a stressful day, the Berrys of Berry Oil went golfing. Since I'm having botox injections on Friday afternoon I needed to hit the course badly this week since I'll be out of commission for a few weeks. It is always entertaining to golf with Dadio, Mama Berry, and Matty.

This was a common occurrence throughout the round...Dadio (and Matty) looking for their golf balls in the rough.
This was also a common occurrence...my golf ball being in the middle of the fairway. (You might need to click on the picture to see the ball (it is the white dot in the middle).
And the other two yayhoos...and Matty is even smiling.

In Idaho The Temples Glow...

It might be because of the Idaho sunshine...

House Progress Week 2

I'm hopeful that after this stressful week re: the house building that things will go smoother...I hope.
Mama Berry thought we should take one with me with my house to be

Reverting Back To A Beehive

Mama Berry is in charge of the Beehives in her ward (young women 12 and 13 yrs olds) and tonight I joined them for "mutual" (weekly youth activity). As you can see from Mama Berry the activity was biking!

And this is the view the whole bike ride...Zion folks, Zion.

Jess Berry Quote of The Day!

Don't worry about what you can change because you can change it and don't worry about what you can't change because you can't change it.

Happy Father's Day

While Dadio no longer sports the mustache one thing hasn't changed, he's still the greatest Dadio a girl could ask for. He's also become the grandpa that I knew he'd be, adored by the little girls and spoils them silly.  I'm proud to be a Berry and the daughter of such an amazing father.  Happy Father's Day Dadio!

Jack Berry...I spoke about him today in church and while he taught me to love the Yankees, The Price Is Right, and the family business; he mostly taught me family is most important. Still miss him but luckily for me the Jack Berry memories run through my veins.

Poncho Villa! Happy Father's Day. You've not met a more hilarious and dedicated to his family (especially his grandchildren) man. To some he might seem rough around the edges but he's really got a marshmallow heart.

And he's tries to give everyone birthday spankings...some things never change.

Mattie Faye loves to cuddle with her Papa.

Matty's quite the daddy to his little girls as well...today it was a dog pile on daddy day because all three wanted to cuddle with Daddy at the same time.

Random Recapping

Mama Berry is working on her parking skills of The Tank we call Dadio's truck.
In Tetonia, the weather is unpredictable so the new fashion is to wear one boot and one summer shoe to always be prepared.
While it was no Yumi Yogurt I devoured the first froyo I've had since arriving in Idaho...I will have to get froyo a couple of times while in PA in a couple of weeks.
Huckleberry Vinaigrette...you know where you can get it? Driggs...I know, I was surprised too. It was delicious.
Mama Berry to Dadio: Put your phone away and have face to face interaction...(we won't mention that seconds before Mama Berry had her iPhone out as well).

*Parents are becoming Mac addicts, JBH would be proud!

Breakfast with the crazies...they kill me!

Introducing The Newest Berry Baller

Averina is pretty good at hitting a pitch and not having to use the T. Watching T-ball is one of the most comical experiences you'll ever have. When the ball is hit all nine fielders run to the ball, collide, have a dog pile, and then throw the ball to first base.
She's also a goofball

Breaking Ground

By now the footings and walls are poured...and as you can tell I'll get the sunset from the west each evening to relax in after work. Building a house is possibly the most stressful thing I've undertaken but I'm trying to remind myself as my blood pressure increases that I'll love the end result, that I'll love the space, the jetted tub, the blue countertops and antique white cabinets, and the whole place to myself (after almost a decade of roommates this is probably the most exciting part)!

Salt Lake In A Day

The folks and I headed to SLC Tuesday to attend some meetings that night and the next day. Tuesday was very enjoyable. (Lots of napping in the car) Wednesday started with a BANG...our car window was smashed overnight (in the "secure" underground parking at Little America) and unfortunately for us the only thing they took was Mama Berry's work bag (that just happen to all of our work for the past two weeks and my new calculator). Needless to say, we were upset and I bet the burglars were equally upset when they realized all they had was a bunch of papers that meant nothing to them.

The bright spot of the day was getting to have a quick visit with the Carlston clan! Man, how I've missed these two rascals...and P&J of course.
My next trip to Utah will be better and longer. :)

Family Flashbacks

We all know after all the babies' faces Poncho has smashed he deserved this one...
Mama Berry and Susie Q keeping it classy as always
 Oh yes, that's a Mexi-stache
I emailed this picture to Joshy tonight to remind him that no matter how hard his mission might be it will never be as bad as this day when we wouldn't give him seconds...
And last but not least this cool dude that no longer has the hair for the mullet. (He was surely a lady killer)
