The Berry's Sweep

Thursday we had the Idaho Petroleum Marketers Association PAC golf tourney at Teton Springs. It was a beautiful course. I also hit the "heck" out of the ball.  It was a scramble tournament, our team took 2nd place. Matty and Amie's team took 1st place. Matty won men's longest drive and men's closest to the pin. Amie won women's longest drive. I took home women's closest to the pin. It was a great and fun day! Mama Berry and Dadio's team made a good showing! 

I think we should do this every week...

Modeling The Frying Pan Toss Contest Prize

Mama Berry made this gem for the ward party frying pan toss contest prize this coming Tuesday. Should be an interesting event...besides frying pan tosses, the night include a treasure hunt for the kids and motorbike barrel racing...yes I stated that correctly. It will be a redneck lovin' fun night!

Thai food in Teton Valley? I know, I was thinking the same thing...must be gross and not really Thai food. There are actually TWO Thai places in Driggs...shocker. I must say, it was pretty delicious. It was no Indochine but it still hit the spot. Besides my friends, the thing I miss most about the Bay is the food. This curry brought me back to so many great memories  and reminded me why Asian cuisines are my favorite!

The Lerwills hosted a delicious BBQ and dessert party (it was hilarious to watch as each family came with one dessert after another) Friday night and they happen to have one sweet gazebo!

Saturday Morning Fun With These Yayhoos

After staying out until 3:30 am volunteering for the Grand Teton Relay I awoke to the sound of these two chatter-boxes Saturday morning (late morning). They always seem to make it over in time for breakfast. 

House Update...FINALLY!

After three straight weeks of no progress on my home, it is finally moving along. Each time I see the lot the house is more transformed...one day it will be a home.

As of Friday, the roof is on, the shingles will start asap, tubs are in, central vac and electrical at the beginning of the week.  I'm in the mist of so many decisions that I can't hardly keep them straight. Luckily I bring Mama Berry along to keep me in line. This coming week I'll finalize my kitchen design, find my granite (hopefully...the saga to find the right blue counter tops that are available has been the most frustrating thing!), pick light fixtures (maybe). More pictures to come!
