Random Recapping

 Mama Berry is working on her parking skills of The Tank we call Dadio's truck.

 In Tetonia, the weather is unpredictable so the new fashion is to wear one boot and one summer shoe to always be prepared.

While it was no Yumi Yogurt I devoured the first froyo I've had since arriving in Idaho...I will have to get froyo a couple of times while in PA in a couple of weeks. 

 Huckleberry Vinaigrette...you know where you can get it? Driggs...I know, I was surprised too. It was delicious.  

Mama Berry to Dadio: Put your phone away and have face to face interaction...(we won't mention that seconds before Mama Berry had her iPhone out as well).

Introducing The Newest Berry Baller

 Averina is pretty good at hitting a pitch and not having to use the T. Watching T-ball is one of the most comical experiences you'll ever have. When the ball is hit all nine fielders run to the ball, collide, have a dog pile, and then throw the ball to first base.

Breaking Ground

By now the footings and walls are poured...and as you can tell I'll get the sunset from the west each evening to relax in after work. Building a house is possibly the most stressful thing I've undertaken but I'm trying to remind myself as my blood pressure increases that I'll love the end result, that I'll love the space, the jetted tub, the blue countertops and antique white cabinets, and the whole place to myself (after almost a decade of roommates this is probably the most exciting part)!

Salt Lake In A Day

 The folks and I headed to SLC Tuesday to attend some meetings that night and the next day. Tuesday was very enjoyable. (Lots of napping in the car) Wednesday started with a BANG...our car window was smashed overnight (in the "secure" underground parking at Little America) and unfortunately for us the only thing they took was Mama Berry's work bag (that just happen to all of our work for the past two weeks and my new calculator). Needless to say, we were upset and I bet the burglars were equally upset when they realized all they had was a bunch of papers that meant nothing to them.  

The bright spot of the day was getting to have a quick visit with the Carlston clan! Man, how I've missed these two rascals...and P&J of course. 

My next trip to Utah will be better and longer. :)

 There are too many great faces in this picture to call out individually so I'll just say we clearly were the coolest coach pitch team around. 

The funny thing about this picture is that my nieces use the same dress up clothes 20+ years later. 

Lime Freezes...

The best thing Driggs, Idaho, has to offer!

If you come visit me, a lime freeze is on me. They are that good. Period. 

Morning Bike Ride-Idaho Style

 In Idaho we wear gloves, coats, and ear-warmers biking until mid-July at least...and even as your nose runs from the cold wind and at times have to pedal extra fast when an angry dog chases you,  you still enjoy this view. 

Everyday Redneck Livin'

Tetonia is a unique place, where you can find a Subaru* and a truck with long horns attached to the grill filling up at the local Berry Oil bulk plant. *I'd bet the farm that Teton Valley has more Subaru vehicles per capita than the whole Bay Area put together. Seriously. I often play count the Subaru cars on my way to Driggs, it is better than the slug bug game.     

You'l also have neighbors that just leave their furniture next to the fire pit permanently, with the gas can to boot...KB, you might want to invest in a few couches before you host your next bonfire at the beach...they are all the rage.    

And among all the redneck uniqueness you'll be surrounded by beauty. 

Goals To Work On

1. Blog three times weekly (minimum) 
2. Hot tub three times weekly (I have been successfully doing this one)
3. Exercise four times weekly (minimum) 
4. Sleep 7-8 hrs per night (this might be more of a dream)
5. Clean my room


Clearly life is really rough when those are my goals to work on. :)
